Workflow Server Status

The Workflow Server must be running for Workflow to be fully functional.

To check the Workflow Server status

  1. Click the Windows Start button on the computer the Workflow Server is installed on. (If you are running Windows 8, from the desktop select Settings from the Charms bar.)
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. Select Administrative Tools. (If you are running Windows 7 or 8, you may need to select System and Security and click Administrative Tools.)
  4. Double-click Services.
  5. Under the ClosedName column, locate the Laserfiche Workflow 9.0 service.
  6. Under the Status column, verify that the Laserfiche Workflow 9.0 service is Started. If the Status column is blank the service is not running, and you will need to manually start the service. .

To manually start the Workflow Server

  1. In Microsoft Window's Services dialog box, select the Laserfiche Workflow 9.0 service.
  2. Select ClosedStart. Windows will try to start the service.
  3. Note: If Windows is unable to start the service, ensure that your Workflow Server has been properly configured and that your Workflow license is valid.
